Getting pregnant with thyroid disease, how long did it take you once you had level meds?

I have hashimotos thyroid disease. This means my test are high in numbers. I have been taking medication and my levels are almost back to "normal". Has anyone ever had this and were they able to get pregnant easier with medication?

We got pregnant the following month after I was diagnosed. I was diagnosed in Dec 2015 and we conceived naturally in Jan 2016

You know that "normal" TSH levels for you may not be in range?  If your doctor is only testing TSH it could take you forever to get optimal.  I have been almost optimal for 6 months and my iron is keeping me from getting there.  You need to have FT4, FT3, RT3 done too.  What was your TPO?
