Dumb question??

This might be a really stupid qustion.. but just curious..

I recently found out i had abnornal cells on my cervix.. doc wants me to come back in 6 months. However i am nervous about getting my flu shot or putting anything in my body that is foreign.  Might be really stupid but do you think it could have a reverse effect on me?

Had the same thing happened to me. Take daily vitamins, eat better, & exersice. It'll be all right. I know it's scary, I thought I had cancer. But being so young I highly doubt it. Your body should fight off the abnormal cells.

Go ahead and get your flu shot. It won't have any impact on your pap smear.

Plz plz keep a check on this I have lost my battle with cervical cancer and that is exactly how it started...I have to have hysterectomy tomorrow ?

I had the same thing my first pap. But nothing was wrong. Try not to stress it!

Flu shot and whatever like that should be fine. Stds and cancer all are what affect pap results. And sometimes it's nothing/goes away before 6months. All should be fine
