It's frustrating because it completely invalidates any emotion a woman expresses.

I find myself hiding and containing anything I feel because no one takes it seriously anyway. It's ridiculous.

yes, yes. but I EQUALLY hate when a girl acts rude, bitchy, sassy, short, etc. and says "oh well I'm on my period!!!"

like, periods are not new to you. they are not an excuse to be a shitty person.

It depends on the man. My husband pays more attention to my cycle than I do, and he's spot on EVERY damn time.

If he is correct, then I'm the one with the problem if I can't handle the truth lol.

I become a raging bitch. My PMS is out of control. My SO sometimes has to remind me to calm down, so when he blames it on my period it's understandable. But if some stranger does it I will kick some ass.

Yes! It's typically the blatant dismissal of valid concepts and facts. That's their way of saying "I'm too uncomfortable/nervous to counter your suggestion so I'm going to blame it on menstruation because I actually know little to nothing about it". (Yikes.)

Nope. I am very very very moody on my period or in early pregnancy. If anyone has ever said this about me they were pretty much right on.  I try to control it, but it's damn near impossible. The last two times I was pregnant I knew before I even missed a period.  I had almost toddler like temper tantrums with my SO. My hormones run my emotions and reasoning to an extent. I own up to it- when I'm not PO and hormonal that is.
