Hot topic in Sweden!
Okay I REALLY hope this doesn't get deleted, as it's not an *actual* post on the topic, although Sweden is referring to it as a "Male Abortion"
Basically, Sweden is entertaining the idea of allowing men, who have impregnanted women, to relinquish their rights to the child by the 18th week of pregnancy. This would eliminate all of his parental responsibility, visitation rights to the child, and he would NOT be required to ever pay child support.
I have not seen this topic debated, and I would love to hear some input on it!
NOTE AGAIN: this is ONLY talking about a male having the option to relinquish all the rights to his child, so that he has no parental responsibility and does not have to pay child support. PLEASE DON'T DEBATE ANYTHING ELSE OTHERWISE THIS THREAD WILL GET DELETED!
