Cervical check extremely painful?

So I've had my cervix checked 4 times now and it is, I swear to you, some of the worst pain I've ever felt. If not the worst.

Now I'm terrified of giving birth because if something that simple hurts that bad, having a baby come out of there has got to be 10 times worse.

What is everyone else's experience with this? My anxiety is through the roof!

I was in the hospital on mag when my dr checked me....I crawled up the bed away from her and told her that she's lucky she's one of my favorite doctors because if she wasn't I would've punched her

It hurts me really bad when my doctor checks my cervix.  You'd swear he's digging for gold in there!  I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds it very painful.

It kills me when they check me. They told me I have a tone of swelling and a varacose vein running across my cervix

Are they checking using a speculum as that hurt me but just fingers was fine. (Sorry sounds a bit crude!)
