Doctor On-Call Line

I'm 19 weeks and have been spotting all day for 2 days. I decided to call the on-call line to see what the doctor said, and I haven't heard anything back in over 3 hours! Does anybody else have a doctor who takes this long to reply to a voice message??? I'm about to go to the ER, after I eat since I know they won't feed me there. Now I'm thinking ahead to when I'm in labor and waiting 3+ hours to hear back from my doctor. Kinda scary!
