Man vs Woman calling you pretty

I swear every time another girl calls me pretty and she's pretty too I get more excited than when another man other than my boyfriend calls me pretty.

But…it's crazy because when another woman uplifts another woman other women think that she's seeking attention or that they are lesbians. Which isn't always the case

So my question is how do you feel about another woman calling you pretty ect? What are your thoughts on this?
