I was diagnosed with GD last week and started testing right away. I have found that it takes me several tries to get a blood sample size that is large enough. I'm using the OneTouch Ultra Mini which I've read generally requires a small sample. This afternoon it took me 40 minutes and 9 'pricks' to get a sample large enough. I've tried washing my hands with warm water, massaging the finger I'm using before and after, adjusting my lancer to the highest setting, and even pricking myself without the lancer- but nothing seems to help. Is anyone else having this problem? Any tricks to try?
