Does anyone else get upset when their partner leaves for business trips?

I just wondered if anyone else gets upset when their partner leaves for business trip or something similar? My husband has to travel abroad for work every few months and I always get upset saying goodbye, I feel daft but I am always a firm believer in people knowing how much you love them (wouldn't go to sleep on an argument etc) as you never know what could happen. I don't worry about him, I just miss him so much when he's gone! I am pregnant but can't blame hormones as I've always been like it with him and we've been together 10 years so not something I'm likely to snap out of!

Just wondered if anyone out there feels similar to me or if I'm just a mess 😁?!

I might be alone on this but I definitely don't get upset! That's not to say I don't miss him I just do other things like work, catch up on shows I want to watch have dinner with girlfriends/ catchup with them. My SO travels about 1-2 times a month for about a week- sometimes more sometimes less- It depends. We both are travelers at heart and we travel together A LOT! It's part of our lifestyle! 
Now if he were military and deployed for 6-12 months at a time I would have an ENTIRELY different view of the situation! My heart truly goes out to all the wives to men in the service! More power to ya👊🏼👊🏼

In our family, I'm the one who has to travel for work. Really only 3-4 days at a time around 5 times a year. My husband is usually okay with it, but not since I got pregnant. He's very overprotective and seems to think I have a choice if I go or not. It's my job, if I'm in good health, which I am, I shouldn't have to stay home.

I understand why you miss him. I miss my husband when I'm away, and I know he misses me. Luckily, ours are just short breaks. I can't imagine going longer...but you're a strong woman! Just remember he's doing it for you guys, it might make it hurt less <3

I usually am sad when he leaves but not upset because he's making money for our family.

My husband is usually gone 3-4 days every other week. It bothers me more now that I'm pregnant. It didn't bother me at all before

My husband is in the military and gets sent away (within the country) frequently. I get upset every time, we've been together 8 years and it hurts just as much now as it ever did.
