How did you feel letting your child to the bahysitter for the first time?

I need some advice scared to let anyone take care of my 1 year old .

I interviewed my sitter a MILLION times. Ik being a military wife that family isn't always next door. Anyway after I felt comfortable with her and our contract she started watching him. First week tho I cried when I got in the car lol!!

You will be worried at first but as long as the babysitter is nice, patient, trustworthy and reliable you will get used to it. When I first brought my son to Mother's Day out I missed him so much even though my mother in law was there. It is a normal mother feeling

Cried... Had hives... N it was husband's family n only for two hours during morning... Its natural to hate the idea...

Personally I wouldn't trust my child with anyone who wasn't family until they are old enough to talk and tell you about their day and what goes on when you aren't around.

I had intentions of going back to work but the idea of a babysitter terrified me so I ended up being a stay at home mom.

Only person I ever let babysit is my mom or my sisters so I don't worry too much. I know she's in good hands. But I've seriously only left her with each of of them a hand full of times. And she's 3 1/2.
