They obviously have the job for a reason. I mean, I'd be self conscious, but it's not like they're running around talking about everyone's vagina that they see.

No I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. Only 2 males are ever down in that area and that's my husband and my obgyn.

A guy waxing and a guy delivering are two different things. I would still request a woman for both. If there is no female medical staff then I would allow a male but only if there was no more women.

I've never had a Brazilian or waxing before, but am considering it since I am 8 months prego and I can't "maintain" the area myself anymore.  I am one of those woman who would prefer to have a female over male for any procedure or examination in my private areas. My body is for my husband's eyes only, unless my life is at risk. Everyone has their own opinions and preferences.

Does this actually happen? I would be surprised if a male would put himself in a position of doing such an intimate procedure on a woman without a chaperone present.

Can you imagine the potential accusations etc that could occur?
I have a male obstetrician who is excellent but would not permit a male beauty therapist to do my bikini waxing.

Yes I would. I have had male ob/gyns and males who delivered my kids.

If he was straight I wouldn't feel comfortable, but if he was gay then I probably wouldn't mind as much, I'd still prefer to have a woman tho. I've never heard of a straight male beautician before tho, didn't think it was allowed
