Fibroid with successful pregnancy

I found out I was pregnant and first ultrasound showed I had a fibroid the size of a large grapefruit I went on to have a healthy baby boy. I did have a lot of pain through my entire pregnancy and it kept my baby transverse he wasn't able to move head down which resulted in a c section. My doctor didn't think he would be able to take it out during my c section but after delivery he popped his head over and told me the fibroid was hanging on by a stalk not imbedded so he could removed it with no problem and he did. My son is 4 months old and I do have cramping pretty bad during my periods still. So to everyone that has these don't get discouraged I had a big fibroid also a bicornate uterus gestational diabetes and high blood pressure and I took extra care of myself and had a healthy baby!
