My boyfriend and I just recently started having sex. And I got the depo shot about 3ish weeks ago. He's the first boyfriend I've had to cum inside me, and so I'm a bit terrified...is it a good chance that I could get pregnant?

The depo was good for contraception but doesn't protect against sti's so make sure u and ur boyfriend get checked out! Also it took 6 months for my period to start again after the last depo shots cover period had ended when we wanted to start ttc, it was really disheartening :( just something else to think about when using the depo! I would use the coil x

I was on it for years and it was great. But then it messed me up when I tried to get pregnant. So don't stay on it too long.

I used to be on the 3month injection for almost 6yrs. I was told to wait 2 weeks before having unprotected sex. And it took over a yr for me to be able to fall pregnant. It does work.  N i act prefer it as u dnt get ur AF n u dnt hav to worry about remembering ur pills daily.
