Brown Discharge? TMI

Today while I was in the bathroom, I noticed a bit of brown discharge when I wiped. I'm expecting my period in the near future and was wondering if this was normal? I had sex twice this week, but took Plan B on Thursday. Could that be the cause of the discharge?
