I had an hsg, now what?

I had an hsg on day 7 of my cycle. I'll ovulate on days 9,10,11. Can I expect to get pregnant this cycle or the next? I've heard good things that come from having an hsg so I hope I'm one of them! ?

The real point of the HSG is to check your tubes, and it has the secondary effect of unblocking them in many cases if they are obstructed.  It "helps you get pregnant" only insofar as it ensures the egg can move into the uterus successfully, which, for some women, may be a major obstacle to getting pregnant.

My OB said she sees a lot of people get pregnant after getting an HSG. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. But fingers crossed for you! Good luck!

I recently had one....both tubes were blocked, doc said it tripled my chances......currently 10dpo in tww....fingers crossed!!! GL to you!!

Yes you can have intercourse the day after if you wish and therefore you can hope to get pregnant straight ahead!  Actually your chances should increase.
