Zoloft and first trimester?

Just wondering if any of y'all have experience taking it in previous pregnancies? My doctor said I need to either reduce or stop my dose- which could actually be worse for me than taking it because the anxiety struggle is real and daily.

I took 100 mg of Zoloft daily with my last pregnancy. My daughter is perfect. I'll be staying on it through this pregnancy as well. I tried to wean off of it during my first, and it didn't go well. Zoloft is very safe during pregnancy, and your baby needs a happy, healthy mama :)

Zoloft can increase the increase the incidence of miscarriage which is why your doctor is concerned. 
I guess you need to weigh up the risks, are you able to trial a lower dose?

I too take zolof 150mg daily. I have my first doctors appointment Wednesday and will ask about it then but I was wondering the same thing!

I've heard that zoloft is one of the safest antidepressants to take during pregnancy

I was taking effexor, doctor told me I could quit it cold turkey and said that zoloft was safe if I felt like I needed something. The last 2 months I've changed my diet, exercised more and completely gave up alcohol and felt 100x better. Good luck!

I am on Zoloft 112.5mg and I am fortunate to have a reproductive psychiatrist who specializes in this. Everyone is different and there is a lot of misinformation out there! Definitely talk to your doctor who will access risks with you.

I take 100mg of Zoloft. I have an appointment with my PCP on Monday and I'm wondering what he will suggest I do.

Both my PBP and OBGYN have encouraged me to continue my Zoloft, PCP actually prescribed it knowing I was TTC.
