How long do you stay home with your newborn?

When is it okay to take them out of the house?

When ever you feel up to it I like to use a wrap because people will easily leave you be and you can cover baby's face this works at family gatherings too if you don't want to play pass the baby

I took my daughter out to an apple orchard when she was 4 days old lol and my brother and sister in law toon their son to a movie with them when he was 5 days old lol my daughter is now 3.5 yr old and she's fine! Lol

I mean it's honestly up to you! It's whatever you feel comfortable with. I personally will take her to her doctors appointments and until she gets her shots I really don't want her exposed to big crowds so we probably won't go far or be around many people.

My baby is 11 days old right now and we have only been to her two dr appts with her since she was born. I wanted to take her to church Sunday but my husband said he wanted to wait another week lol.... Me and my 4 yr old went to target last night just to go get out bc I hadn't left the house in 6 days!!! But she does have ballet tomorrow so it'll be my first trip out with 2 kids by myself.

We have a baby shower 5 days after his due date with my work.  Lol so he'll be in the world at this point.  Let's hope he's born.... Lol

I took her out of the house the next day we brought her home. She has had many doctors appointments since she was born.  She is 2 weeks old today. :)

Whenever you're comfortable. You'll just want to make sure that strangers don't get too close, so I drape a blanket over the baby's car seat so no one can see her. Mine will be 3 weeks on Thursday and she's been out in public 3-4 times. Once to a restaurant and a few times to Walmart. I germ x my hands before I pick her up after we've been out.
