So i just had my 4 wisdom teeth taken out last monday (so 1 week and 1 day ago). I know they say not to drink with a straw to prevent dry socket but stupid me, i totally forgot and drank about 8 sips from this small pouch/carton of chocolate milk with a straw and didnt notice until i felt a little pain in my bottom tooth. Then i stopped and rinsed with the prescribed mouthwash.

Note: I still have pretty much all my stitches in.

Question: Do you think ill be fine since it's been over a week since the surgery? I tried calling my surgeon's office but no one answered so I'm worrying right now. I really don't want to get dry socket 😟
