C-section or Vaginal?!

Question

Hi I'm hoping to get some insight from women who have been in my position; I have had 2 C-sections, 1st in 2006 emergency as baby was in distress, 2nd 2008 as I was told attempting vaginal birth after a C-section within 2 years can be risky!  So now I'm pregnant with my 3rd I'm only a little over 5 weeks but I'd like opinions on if I should try Vaginal or have another C-section? I want to try vaginal delivery as it is more natural, easier recovery and one less surgery. I have read up on Vaginal after C-section on the American Pregnancy Association's website and it looks pretty promising BUT I'd like to get insight from Mommy's who've been trough it please & thank you! !! ♡♡

Also. Dont listen to the crap they like to spew of not being allowed. Well you are the one giving birth and they have no right at all to say how you can or cannot birth. 
Research is key. Also, don't allow them to manipulate you into working to their schedule, a baby doesn't work on schedules when birthing so just ignore them

I'm pretty sure after 2 C-Sections you're no allowed to have a vaginal birth. Because there are higher risks involved. My mother had 3 children, and my first brother and I were C - Sections. (I was too small, he was too large) my youngest was perfectly normal but was a C-Section because of the 2 previous C-Sections. She was not given a choice because of where that spot on her tummy had been cut multiple times and the risk of a vaginal was much higher. It may be different in different places. But in parts of Canada, I'm pretty sure it's a general rule in hospitals. But I would talk to your doctor, they would know more than any of us haha

My aunt an I talk about this all the time. She had a vaginal birth after a C-section. She said it wasent any diferent than before her C-section. She said it felt the same but her doctor was concerned if she had to much scar tissue. But she tried and it was fine and went normally so. As long as your doctor knows what you want (she had a midwife at the hospital) as long as your birth team knows what you want you can try for it as long as your fully recovered and  not to much scar tissue

I thought you weren't able to do vaginal once you've had multiple c-sections?

You have every ability and right to birth vaginally :) if that is what you want to do then i would say go for it. There is a book i love called 'why every pregnant woman should have a doula ' abd its filled with heaps of information regarding our bodies during labour, its really important to know these things so as to assist us and greatly reduce risk of doctors wanting to do c section. 
Find a good natural midwife and or doula as they will help immensely to assist you to be able to do this and will have bucketloads of knowledge
