Does your boyfriend listen to you when you try to have a serious talk?
I love my boyfriend, he's a great guy. I don't ever try to nag him if I have an issue with him because I wouldn't want to be nagged either. Sometimes I feel like he's not listening to me. Especially, when he says he won't do certain things and then he does them anyways. I try to have a conversation as oppose to an argument. I want us to both be heard and come to an agreement so we can move forward. Sometimes he gets a blank facial expression or just looks uncomfortable and then responds with short one word answers during serious conversation or arguments. I just want him to take me seriously without feeling awkward during conversation. It makes me feel like he's not interested in what I'm talking about or that I'm making him feel uncomfortable. I ask if I am and he says he's okay and that he just doesn't have anything to say. Has anyone here had a similar issue with their partners? And if so, how did you deal with the situation?
