Stressed out! Gbs

Jennea
Had my last doctors appointment today I'm getting induced on Saturday. Anyways, as I'm leaving they tell me I tested positive for gbs. They said it like it was nothing. I had to ask if that was bad or good. And when they told me it was a bacteria she just said we will give you an antibiotic. That's it. So of course I come home and research it and people were saying it could cause still birth and serious illness in the baby. I'm so confused has anyone else tested positive and been okay? I don't know why my doctor wouldn't talk about it for more than 5 seconds if it was serious? Obviously there are risks and all but I'm more curious how common it is and how common complications from it is. It's my second baby and I didn't have it last time. I'm really scared.
