Shingles come from the chickenpox viruse if you've had chickenpox the shingles viruse is dormant in your body until your immune system gets low then it attacks your system you don't get it from other people

I got it twice!!! And I got mono twice!!!! Drs said because the first one wasn't bad enough I ended up getting hit double time ?? Lol shit sucks!

When I was 4. It was so bad I actually had to go to the ER. my fever had spiked to 105 and I was fading in and out of consciousness the entire time. Story of my life.

My sister and I had chickenpox aged 4 & 2. I have a small scar on my cheek from scratching!
Last year however, my sister did catch Shingles at the nursing home she works at due to a suppressed immune system. It was very very painful for her!

If you have a suppressed immune system be careful around people with chickenpox or shingles, they're the same bug and you can get it twice!
