Birth Control

Yaronndia
I had depo 3 times in the past 4 years and I had the pill for 1 year out of the four. I have been  lazy on seeing my OBGYN because I'm not sure what Birthcontrol I want but I don't want babies and I kinda don't want Birthcontrol any more as in pill or depo shot and my boyfriend hate condoms

Have you considered an IUD like mirena or paraguard? They bother get inserted into your uterus. Mirena lasts for 5 yrs and paraguard lasts for up to 10yrs.Other options are the arm implant that lasts 3yrs, a diaphragm, the patch that you wear for 3wks then leave off for one to have your period and the nuvaring that you put up your vagina for 3wks then take out for a week. Both the patch and ring can be costly though as a new one is needed for each cycle.

If you haven't had children yet IUDs are not really an option. Most doctors will only implant it if you have already had children because it can be very painful for women who have never given birth and may cause issues with conception down the road. Contraception is just one of those sucky things we just deal with as women. Take the pill, it's the best option.

I hear you. I just had my first at 32 and I'm a bit excited that once I finish breastfeeding they'll let me have an IUD!

I'm using the Femcap it is a Cervical cap. I use it with Contragel which you can buy on Amazon if you are allergic to Spermicide. I have had it for 5 months and no Baby:). And it is natural Birth Control. You keep it in for 48 hrs you can use it for a year!!!!
