Do you have a bad credit score? My husbands is awful because when he turned 21 and we got married we tried to buy a house and at that time we found out that his mom had been opening credit cards in his name since he was 18, and she had TWELVE, and they were ALL maxed out!! He had no idea how to use or track credit before we were together, and I felt bad for him because he honestly thought only his student loans were on his credit. I've never been more livid in my life.
