Those with PCOS, how long did treatment take before it started to take to your body? And we're you able to conceive? What are the steps through treatment and then pregnancy?

I was diagnosed with PCOS after coming off the pill. My periods have basically been non existent after I came off the pill in May, but I would spot A LOT. All light brown spotting but it would last for weeks and then stop. It was truly worse than a period bc it was unpredictable and annoying. Fast forward to January, I was diagnosed with PCOS and started taking Metformin. The next month I got my first period again! Seeing actual red blood was so exciting lol TMI. But I continued to take it for like 5-6 months. I got pregnant after taking it for 1 month but miscariied early on. Also got pregnant again 2 months later on it but miscarried again early on. So after that I quit taking it and I've still been having a period every month (woo!) Not super regular, it's every 37 days or so. But my hubby just returned home from deployment so we shall see how baby making goes now that I'm having a period every month! 😊

There is treatment for this???!!?! I was told 4 months after my son was born I had PCOS, my doctor did not explain much to me about it just that it causes ovarian cysts and fertility issues and lack there of A pirod!

I have now been trying to get pregnant again for a few months but With the lack there of a period most months how am I to even track my ovulation.

Sorry for high jacking your post but I never knew there was a treatment for this I was just told to try and lose some waight but that's not always very easy i have been trying to eat healthier and go for walks everyday!

I'm 22 and was diagnosed with pcos also... I had irregular periods, got out on metformin and the first month I had a period and second. I'm waiting for this months period still. I think it all just takes a little longer when having pcos xx

I was trying for 3 years. I didn't find out I had pcos until after I found out I was pregnant. Fell pregnant whilst being tested xx
