Painful sex while pregnant?!

Probably TMI but sex is now painful for me. It feels like a sharp pain in my lower abdomen on the left side or in the center. I'm 5 weeks along. Anyone else have a similar issue?

That happens to me here and there but not all the time. I've had 2 successful pregnancies with that.

Girl yes! The pain was close to unbearable, but it has only been once. (I was a little under 5 weeks)  I checked with the dr, and she said sex shouldn't cause any problems during pregnancy since everything looked fine with me and the baby.  So when we had sex again, we tried a different position.  Seemed to work for us!  Good luck!

I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. This is my first pregnancy and i'm so paranoid i haven't let my bf touch me. Lol! Thanks for letting me know!

I haven't had pain during sex this far, I'm 10w+2d and starterd having sex at about 7w, ( I just felt so crappy and nervous about it anyways) but before you continue, you should probably see your Dr and just make sure it's ok to have sex for you and bring up the pain you feel while doing it.

My Dr did say sex was safe at any stage of pregnancy as long as you're not a high risk pregnancy or have had previous miscarriages. So just for peace of mind talk to your Dr.
