Otc medications?

I have a terrible cough, and I'm also coughing up really thick phlegm from my lungs. I've tried the honey/ lemon tea, etc. And nothing works, is there any otc medication I can take? I'm 34 weeks & 3 days along.

If you call you dr they can give you a list of approved otc meds you are able to take

I took mucinex! It literally saved me and my awful congestion and coughs :)

Take the liquid mucinex dm fast acting max it's amazing worked immediately a cold I was fighting for 3 days I took it the next morning I was 100 percent better.

The only things you can't take are combinations. Don't take a cough and cold syrup because there's too many different types in one syrup. I was told not to take Sudafed during my first and second trimester, but all of that changes during the third trimester. Call and ask a pharmacist.

Call and ask 😉 sorry you're feeling sick. I was told Sudafed and musinex (not DM) is safe. I also used saline most to help clear my nostrils so I could breathe. Feel better mama!

My doctor said regular robotussin no dm stuff. But you can always call your drs office and ask them too.
