What does giving birth feel like ?

What does it feel like to give birth? & how long did it take you?

I've only had a C-section so I don't know about natural. In my experience, the epidural is the worst part. Maybe because I have slight scoliosis and they has to try a few times to get it right. *shudder*  Labor pains were bearable for me and I was in labor for 3 days. It's exhausting though. The C-section was kinda cool though. You can see everything if you choose to. You're not tired and just kinda chllin. Feels weird having your insides taken out, but it doesn't hurt at all. The recovery sucks balls, but only for about a week and only if you move around like they say.

1 hour of pushing, over 36hrs of labor. 
& there's no way to really describe it. I felt like I was going to die, but the pain was relieved the second he came out. And it didn't feel like an hour.

I only had 1 epidural dose and it was around 12hrs before I gave birth. Nobody told me I could get another dose.

Contractions were the worst part. The last 1-2 hours leading up to pushing I was in so much pain I would black out between contractions and wake up for each one. They feel like the most intense period cramp you can imagine. The pain is so great you feel like you're going to completely pass out. As I got closer... I felt the need to push but my doctor wasn't available yet as a woman a couple doors down was having severe complications with birth. It got so bad I couldn't hold back the urge anymore and my body involuntarily pushed for me.... Like the same sensation when you're throwing up. We got someone in ASAP at that point and I pushed 3 times and he was out. It kinda feels like a lot of pressure and like your vagina is on fire and about to be ripped apart. Lol. But adrenaline gets you through it like a champ. I had an all natural birth by the way.

I wouldn't know because I've never had a kid, but sex still hurts so I can't imagine how bad it would hurt to push a baby the size of a watermelon through an opening that small...😖
