December mommies... Who is back at work??

Was it awful? Any advice for the transition? How much time did you all take

I went back a week ago. It wasn't too bad since my husband takes care of her while I am at work. He works a 2nd shift and can log in from home most days once I am back. 2 days a week my mom watches her during the time my husband goes into the office and before I get home. Usually only for an hour or so. It would be much harder if she was at day care with strangers I think. For me going back to work is hard but it also makes me feel more well rounded again. Which makes me a better mommy I feel.

I took 2 months and was back at work by the beginning of February. It's still a difficult transition... I know my baby girl is in good hands (her daddy watches her during the day), but it's so hard to find the time to pump and then the second I get home, I'm taking care of her - there's literally no time to myself. But welcome to parenthood, amiright? 😏

I went back after 6 weeks, but I take my baby to work with me! It was exhausting at first but she's doing great now! We can all adjust. You can do it mama!

I went back to work when my baby was 6 weeks. It was hard at first, but it's ok now. One of our neighbors watches her 2 days a week, and those days I like much better. The other two days my MIL watches her. I'm not my MILs biggest fan... I only work Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, so at least my days are short.

I took 12 weeks off. It was horrible. I cried, through only thing I can say is it will get better. I still hate being away from my boy, but I know it's only for a short time.

Back at work after 3 months. I love my job so I was excited to go back. It was hard to leave my Baby to a daycare but after a week or two baby and I were both fine.

Going back in 2 weeks and I'm so sad I have to leave him @ daycare. I get anxiety just thinking about it

Ugh I go back tomorrow....so dreading it. I work 11pm-7am so my husband will be watching him and he already sleeps through the night.

I went back at two weeks postpartum, but I take my little one with me, and work from my boss' home... So I am able to have the pack and play there, and nurse. It works wonderfully, and it made it really easy for me to go back to work 😊

I went back after 11 weeks, luckily he is able to come with most of the time, have only had to leave him for a few hours 2 days. 😀 No way I would be able to leave him everyday.
