Safe allergy meds?

I'm suffering. I was trying to tough it out but my nose and throat won't let me be great. Is anyone else suffering with allergies? What are you taking?

My ob said claritin is safe.

Zyrtec, Benadryl, Claritin. My allergies have been kicking my butt I can't wait to not be pregnant so I can take some Flonase and Allegra!

I just went to  get checked out today because of it. I was diagnosed  with chronic cough caused by my allergies that were made worse by my pregnancy! My sinus cavities are severely  congested, my tonsils are red and swollen, and I have fluid in my ears! My head feels like it is going to explode, my eyes feel like they are on fire, my throat is scratchy, my stomach hurts so bad from all the coughing as does my back and chest...I'm having a horrible time! And I was told my the Dr I'm not allowed to take anything at all (not even zyrtec) because I am still not safely into my 2nd trimester and even that can cause birth defects. I am stuck doing basal rinses, having a humidifier on, and rubbing myself with vicks. I was also told it probably wouldn't get better as my pregnancy  goes on, but worse...yay, only 6 more months to go!
