Best diaper pail?

Recommendations for the best diaper pail? Is a diaper pail with specialty bags really worth it or could you just use a regular trash can? Thoughts, experiences, favorite brands?  Thanks!  :)

So, I got the diaper genie because I use a litter genie for my cats. I have not had my baby yet but I can tell you we LOVE our litter genie. It really doesn't smell at all and we don't have to go downstairs every day to take out the litter. I have friends that have a 1 year old and have used the diaper genie the beginning. To me, it's well worth the convenience.

I love the diaper champ. You can use regular garbage bags so its cheaper than other ones that are out there.

I liked the munchkin diaper pail. Very basic. Bags were easy to find. I prefer the diaper pail in general just it keep all those lovely scents in there. It amazing how quickly and bad it can smell otherwise.
