Neither sex "should" be the bread winner. It's completely dependent on the situation. This is a completely idiotic question.

Whoever wants to do it. Man, woman, both, whatever. People should respect it either way. As a SAHM (who works 3 days a week at a cafe) I get a lot of flack from my feminist "friends" about submitting to the oppression of our gender, but while they're bitching about jobs they hate all day, I'm hanging with my little man, making muffins from scratch and loving life. So my point is do what you want and tell other people to suck it.

Does it matter? As long as the family is getting provided for It wouldn't matter who made more.

How about adding another answer to your poll for "both?" I think both the husband and wife should contribute equally.

I personally don't care how other people's homes are run, but in my home I want my husband to be the bread winner.  I want him to have the career, to provide for our family, and I want to be a SAHM and take care of our family/home.

Were not in the 30s anymore. If they're living together and raising a family together they should both be equally responsible for the bills and money spending in the household.
