Nose piercing

I was thinking about getting my nose pierced this summer but I'm scared I will get the bump on in. Last summer I got my cartilage pierced and there was a bump on the back of my ear that didn't go away for quite a while. Do you think that there will also be a bump on my nose? There's lots about how to get rid of the bump on Pinterest I just don't know what causes it. And how much does it hurt?(I'm getting it done with a needle) Thanks
