Avoid them at (almost) all costs. I had *severe* anxiety (I laid in bed and cried afraid I was dying for over a year). They put me on Xanax .5 mg, then 1mg, and so on. You get used to it fast so that within 6 months I was on 3mg 3x a day and so doped up, I couldn't function as a wife or mother. I finally found a doctor who was willing to help me wean off and teach me alternative coping methods. I'm now medication free since 11/2012 and my anxiety is all but gone. The meds are horrible for you in general, but even more so if you're TTC or trying to care for small children.

I can't remember the name, buuuuut I know that when I read the information on it, it said not to mix it with grape fruit because it can have the same effects as the pills. So if you're feeling anxious, try grapefruit.

I used to take Xanax and celexa, didn't like celexa. And then I haven't had tO take a Xanax in 3 months! Sometimes they're great to help ease anxiety but sometimes they're needed permanently. Once pregnant make sure to tell your doctor so they can prescribe something baby safe ???

I've been taking Celexa 30mg in the am. It's for the depression & anxiety that started after my father died 9yrs ago, & got worse after my mother died 2yrs ago. I also have a Service Dog for those issues as well. Years ago the dr had me on Paxil & I ended up feeling worse.

Sertraline. 25mg at bedtime. Keeps me level. I have agoraphobia and I'm an introvert so it makes it even worse lol. And I have a chemical imbalance so I don't have enough of the happy chemical in my brain so the chemicals that are released are absorbed back into the nerve that sent them out and not the nerve it was suppose to go into. Hence the imbalance. I tried other things like tryptophan and changing my diet and more exercise and less stressed and it all worked for a little while and then I crashed badly. After that I had to take them or else I couldn't function. I was kinda manic. Up really high and then down really low. So I don't take them now since were TTC and I'm pregnant now hoping this one sticks and so my dr said hormones may balance me out. She said they're a wonderful and scary thing all at once haha.

I take xanex. I take one 0.25 mg every night then I have a 0.5 mg dose I can take up to two times a day as needed.

I take Xanax because mine isn't every single day and it works great for me! Idk what they have for an everyday thing if that's what you're dealing go with but I hope that helps☺️
