Brown discharge 5 months post
Ok so I had to get an abortion back in mid October due to medical reasons.
I didn't really bleed or cramp to much the first 2-3 days but on the 4th day I had some lower back pain (or as I called them back cramps and some serious arm soreness bc they gave me my 1st depo shot in my arm post procedure) everything seemed normal and healing well otherwise.
I began having a dark brown discharge about a week after the procedure. And it continued on and off, but more so on, up until my next shot in early January. I spoke with the dr about it and she said it could be from the procedure or my body adjusting to the depo shot. She said if it continues until my next appt then maybe we can figure out if it's more serious.
Well, it has now been 2 days shy of 5 months post procedure and I am still having this brown discharge. No cramping or aches just uncomfortable annoying discharge. I can't not wear something, wheather it be a panty liner or a tampon... otherwise I'd "leak" (as I call it).
Has anyone had this happen? Or have suggestions for me? I'm thinking I'll stop the shot and maybe go a month or so without any bc and see what my body says to that?
I'm just so over this uncomfortable mess... 😣 Help!?!
