Clit swelling

So my boyfriend and I had sex about an hour ago and my clit has swelled up to about double the size. But I t's only on the left side. I looked up reasons for it and it said from too much rubbing or intense sex. So I guess my question is, is there any other reasons or is this the only one? Also, has anyone else experienced this and how do I make the swelling go down faster?
