I recently met and started talking to my best friends guy friend (who likes her by the way. She has a bf tho) and I really like him a lot. I know this because I never really like people and if I do I push it aside because I know they could never like me back.

But I'm hurting like a bitch because of it this time which is weird because like I said I try to avoid this kinda feeling.

My best friend keeps saying stupid stuff to him and he's really jealous and sad and I am just letting him vent to me because I do care... But I care so much that I'm hiding that I'm hurting because neither of them notice...

I know what you mean by pushing the feelings aside, I do that as well and a lot of times people didn't understand what I meant, and I was really worried that I'd end up pushing my feelings aside for the right person, but I'm glad to hear that one day I'll know the difference lol. Anyway, as for your predicament, I suggest being more supportive than just a listener. Tell him what he needs to hear and be honest. Not necessarily mean, because if you're mean about your best friend, he won't be interested in you. Say things like "you know what, she doesn't deserve you. You're so kind and sweet and it's like she doesn't even notice you any more. You deserve better, for you." And then leave the rest to his option
