When to start OPKs?

My menstrual cycle usually lasts for 7 or 8 days. My cylces are all over the place so I'm not sure when I ovulate. What days should I start testing? Today I'm on cd 6 with medium flow and is letting up so should be done in the next day or two. Any help?

Start ASAP. I started on cycle day 5 and already starting to get a positive :) GL

Since you're not sure, do them every day after your period is finished until you get a positive result. Once you have a better idea of what cycle day(s) you ovulate you won't have to do them as often (this month I only did one...I just had a feeling it was the right day). Good luck!
