Honeymoon destination?

What would be an ideal place to go, if you are in a short budget? Any ideas ladies? Anything is helpful!

My ex-husband and I went to a cabin in the Shenandoah for a couple days for our honeymoon and saved up for a cruise the following year. It only cost about $300 plus the expense of driving and the food we didn't bring for ourselves.

My husband and I did a big honey moon 2 months after the wedding after a mini honeymoon directly after the wedding. Our little honeymoon cost us 600$ and it was 3 nights in a cabin in Amish country. It was AMAZING. Only an hour drive for us and we got to go shopping for our new home and basically enjoy ourselves and do nothing with a beautiful cabin to go back to and relax in. Also consider hawking hills, it's beautiful and fun if you're into hiking or zip lines.

Do you have any family members that have vacation homes they would let you stay at? Our first choice for our honeymoon was my uncle's cabin in the Adirondacks. The road washed out the day before our wedding, though, (that's what we got for planning our wedding for April, considering the cabin is at the end of a dirt road on the top of a hill), so we did our second choice and went down to Lancaster, PA instead.
