Help! Do you think my ovulation test is correct

So I have unfortunately had long 38-40 day cycles sense getting my birth control out 5 months ago. And I have been ttc. Today I am on cycle day 15 and got a positive ovulation test when I normally wouldn't get a positive ovulation test for another week or so. So my question to you is do you think my body is just finally getting back on track? Or could I really not be ovulating? My husband and I had sex 4 times in my 5 day fertile period what do you think my chances are??? Please comment
