Honestly I prefer males. They seem to be more understanding in my opinion. I had both with my first, and the male was more alert with everything. He was more concerned with a lot of things like symptoms and such. He was the only one to notice my daughter stopped growing at 35 weeks.

Due to my past I feel more comfortable with women drs. Just my personal opinion though. I get bad anxiety and start having a panic attack if I hear a male Dr will be looking at me and will cancel my appointment and reschedule with a female.

I've had several female GYN and I hated all of them they caused me to have a fear of going to get examined by a gyn I had a colposcopy done by a female it was the worst thing in the world. I stared going to a man the same one who preformed a surgery for my mom and I love him I hope he never retires!! And delivers my children he also did the same procedure (colposcopy) and it was a breeeze I feel like females are just insensitive

I've had 3 females, the first was nice but not whatbi was looking for then the 2nd office I went to all the staff were so rude and I hated the female I saw but my 3rd office is amazing I love the woman I see, very gentle,understanding and actually cares to listen and figure out what's wrong. My mom sees another female in the same office and loves going to her. I'm perfectly fine with mine just took a few offices to find what I wanted in an OB/GYN

The first woman to give me a pap did so knowing I am a queer woman and took her prejudice out on my body. I feel like she assulted me, but I was too inexperienced to realize that what happened to me was illegal and unethical. 
But because of what happened, the gender of my doctor doesn't matter; the exam is always uncomfortable and terrifying to me.

I like male dr. They are more sensitive. I be always had a set mind I wanted a women n it's easier to tell them. But my male gyno is awesome.

I feel like a man can't possibly know what he's doing down there because he doesn't have the same organs. If I say I have bad cramps, a guy can't relate. My whole medical team is female, but especially my gyno!

I always thought I preferred female care. But I switched obgyns and went with a guy who is nice and kind, and now I don't mind either way.
