Hey mommies, I'm a first time mom to an almost 2 month old baby boy, which is already a handful. My boyfriend has a little girl who is almost 2, who spends a good amount of time with us, 3 sometimes 4 days a week. As a first time mom I feel overwhelmed with my son, and I kind of feel like he has a high expectation that I jump into being a step mom to a toddler as well. Which I wouldn't mind if her mom was okay with me being around her daughter. That's not the case though, I've asked him to ask for a sit down with her mom, but she refuses. I'm not sure how to be okay with this.. How can I help raise a little girl when her mom doesn't even want me around her?

How have you step mom's dealt with the other moms? How do I bring my discomfort up to my boyfriend?
