The only way for alcohol to cross to the baby is via the placenta. Since the placenta doesn't develop and attach to the uterine wall until 6wks, drinking in the 2ww will have zero affect on the baby.

Some say it's not a big deal but me personally I wouldn't. 4th of July 2013 I was in my tww and was offered a few drinks and turned them down I as glad I did because 4 days later I got my bfp and even though I know it wouldn't have harmed my little girl I'm sure in the back of my head I would've been worrying

My doctor told me it's perfectly safe to be drinking up until I get a BFP test result. That said, I have cut way back.

Remember if the baby get sick, it would be for long long, so think about it.

It was our wedding anniversary and we didn't know I had 1 mimosa. Do you know in Europe women drink while preg a very limited amount mind you but still have a drink. There is no proof a small amount of scholarly damages the baby plus the first 2 weeks your not even pregnant.
