He wants me on top, I wanna go on top. I'm worried though? I wouldn't even know what to do, like where do I put my hands? Should I almost be laying on top of him or sit up straight? Help me out please I'm so nervous 😂 Any tips?

It will come naturally, try not to overthink it too much. 
Grinding on him with your hands in his chest is a good position, or lean forward slightly with your hands on either side of his head, and gently lift yourself up and down on him. 
You can always switch it up to find something that is comfortable for both of you, so don't stop experimenting:) good luck.

Just let it come naturally - it'll feel different in different positions, and work out which you like. 
I like leaning back and resting on my palms, because I think that feels best.
