I had my broken molar removed last week. 6 days ago. While the site that it was removed from is healing fine and showing no signs of infection I am still in pain. I can get through the day taking regular strength tylenol. It still hurts but I am able to muscle through it. It is unbearable at night and I barely sleep despite taking tylenol. I was prescribed tylenol 3 but it doesn't work at all. Regular strength tylenoI axtually works better. I also take 4 penicillin pills a day. Does anyone know how long this is supposed to last? My dentist said it is most likely just trauma to the bone and surrounding area and to just keep taking tylenol. I don't like taking anything and I feel like I have been taking more than a healthy share of tylenol the past few days. Have any of you gotten prescribed something stronger that works for pain. I mainly need something for nighttime when it is the worst
