Is there a chance?

Charlene • My boyfriend and I are in our 20's and have been TTC for about three months now. I have been anxious and probably a bit overly excited.
I was 2 weeks late after quitting my birth control. Right after those two weeks I had my period,lasted 5 days and tests were negative.. is there a chance that I am pregnant? I was told my mother still had a period while pregnant with me, so this concerns me a little.
