White discharge. A lot!!!

Should I be worried that from time to time I have excessive amounts of discharge. It doesn't have an odor majority times. This time it didn't. Me and my husband had sex and he said it had a smell to it that he didn't like and asked me why do I discharge so heavily. I can't come up with a proper answer myself because my doctor tells me there's nothing wrong and that everything down there is okay some females discharge flow is heavier than others. Do any of you ladies out there experience this or something similar and if so what have you done or what do you suggest doing to resolve it?
