So we decided to tell immediate family the news pretty early (I'm only 5+4) so that we'd have a support network in place if anything goes wrong. Well this was a huge mistake as people don't know how to keep their mouths shut. What was originally supposed to be seven people finding out, between parents, in laws, and brothers, is now 30+ and counting. I'm pretty annoyed and I guess we'll just have to wait longer next time, as hard as that is. Just a word of caution/ my personal experience to anyone considering telling their families early.
