Huggies diapers stink?!

Question

So, I use Pampers swaddlers and this weekend I had to switch to huggies since I ran out - the store was out on the newborn size and my next shipment of pampers wont arrive until tomorrow.. As soon as the diaper is wet, a very strong urine odor comes out as if my baby stinks so bad! Dont have this problem with the Pampers diapers..  I just changed my baby girl 5minutes ago and I smell the urine smell already.. Anyone else has experienced the same?  I think I'm done with Huggies 🙊

The one day we used huggies, I had to change my little ones outfit with every diaper change due to leakage! After about 5 outfits, we went back to pampers.

You guys should ONLY use pampers.  If your store is out, try Luvs.  Same company.

I know what you're talking about with the huggies. I honestly hate them. We are just trying to use up what we got as gifts. I can't wait to switch back to pampers.

We'll cloth diaper once our daughter is out of newborn clothes. Right now, we use Seventh Generation and I love them. Prior to this, we used the Pampers Swaddlers they gave us in the hospital. Those were great too.

Yes!!! I was using pampers until I ran out, and my mom had bought a big box of huggies smugglers when I was like 6 weeks pregnant. Lol. I started using them then I noticed he smells like pee .. I would change him bath him wipe him down and then once he would wet his diaper again there the smell was. I've cracked it down to they just don't absorb the smell. So when I run out, back to pampers it is.

I hate huggies! I'm currently using what I got from my baby shower & these diapers are horrible. If my son pee's one time & poops in the same diaper, it's everywhere & leaks out. I never had this issue with pampers.

I don't know, I love Huggies little snugglers they are just sort of pricey since my newborn goes through diapers like crazy

I really like pampers swaddlers or targets brand up and up! Haven't used huggies since my first child. I hated them and haven't used them since. We use luvs every once in a while. They work fine but don't hold as much as the other two brands.

I love pamper swaddlers ... Heard bad reviews from many friends about huggies ... Currently using luvs which we got as a gift ... They seen fine, but fill up very quickly ... Changing baby nearly every hour and a half ...
