I'm currently being monitored for high BP and raised levels of protein in urine. I was scheduled for a BP check today and when I went in it was slightly elevated. They had a nurse come in and tell me that they feel okay having me wait until my appointment on Friday to discuss anything but that if I feel any type of way that I should go right in to triage. My question is, is she mentioned shortness of breath. I asked her to clarify but I'm still wondering what constitutes that trip to L&D? I've been having shortness of breath for the last couple weeks regardless of what activity I'm doing (sitting, walking, laying down) and I just thought it was normal? How would I know to go in if I have shortness of breath all the time?? I know we're not all doctors here but her explanation didn't really clear anything up. 😩
